A good development of Botrytis allowed to start the harvest on 25th September. The small surface and the homogeneous terroir of Sigalas have as usual offer fast harvests for the “noble rot” of a great purity. Five harvests took turns until 22th October. It is a very nerve vintage with a great concentration.

In the tradition of Sigalas, the 2013 is a vintage of a great fineness. The wine colour is pale yellow, with a flower nose, peer, white peaches and slight spicy aromas. The balance is aerial. The final has candied aromas. A great year which allowed the terroir of Sigalas to express all its elegance.

“ A really consistant wine. The attack is made with a beautiful sweetness, the mid-palate is really smooth and the finish is very flexible with elegance. A superb sweet wine ! ”
