Château Sigalas Rabaud 1er cru classé 1855

Sauternes

2014

La bouteille du vin Le Château Sigalas Rabaud.

After a difficult summer, the fogs of the Ciron appeared at the end of September with a radiant sun and dry winds. They made the fungus appear and concentrate itself. The harvest in October allayed initial concerns : Our patience was awarded. The 2014 vintage keeps promises, it is very fresh and has a good quality of pure botrytis which once again gives the huge complexity of the Sigalas Rabaud.

Tasting

The wine colour is golden-yellow, the nose is complex with apricot, pineapple, citruses and white flowers notes. The palate is powerful and full of velvet. The intense aromatic return confirms the promise of the first nose and confers elegance to this wine. In final, slight spices and mineral notes give an elegant liveliness and show a great potential.
