The rains of the first half of September made it possible to start the harvest on the 25th of this month. The first three tries were of a magnificent acidity. Then, around mid-October, the noble rot develops in a homogeneous way and allows to complete the harvest by a sixth sort on November 15th.

Sigalas 2008 reflects all the qualities of the Sauternes terroir. The nose opens with aromas of white-fleshed fruit. We find a harmony between sweetness and acidity. In the mouth, the wine is powerful and well balanced with a fresh and tart finish.
